Assessment and Development Centres

future factory deliver a highly successful approach to the assessment and development of individual performance against specific, job-related competencies.

Our Development Centre model is an ideal solution when a particular team has clearly defined individual and team behavioural skills which need to be developed.

future factory insists that job-related competencies are identified and agreed prior to the development centre, thus allowing demonstrated behaviours to be benchmarked against the desired competences and creates a strong framework for the creation of a personal and professional development plan.

In keeping with the specific objectives of each centre, the emphasis can be primarily on either individual assessment or individual and organisational development.

There are 5 key elements to our "development centre" methodology.

One-to-one observation by coach/assessor as participants engage in business mirror simulation.

Coach/assessor feedback to support participants in identifying and rehearsing effective behaviours and contributions as the programme develops.

"Skill Coach’: future factory’s full process of 360 degree feedback is used to identify similarity between work-based observations and the behaviours observed during the development center.

Psychometric/personality profiling administered by qualified occupational psychologists.

A Personal Development Plan based upon the significant feedback and self-assessment from the programme.

The content of each development centre is designed to reflect the desired competencies for staff in particular roles within your organisation. Exercises are selected to allow for demonstration of specific skills and behaviours. The content of the 360 degree questionnaire is drawn up to focus entirely on these agreed competence sets.
